Outreach for Earth Stewardship, in order to foster an interest in  birding in Vermont as well and to promote responsible birding ethics, is offering a challenge to all birding enthusiasts. The handsome embroidered patch featuring Vermont's State bird, the Hermit Thrush, will be awarded to those who take on and successfully complete the challenge. Your job is to find and identify 100 species of birds in the wonderfully diverse outdoor environs of Vermont. Take as long as you need; the most important thing is to get out and go birding!
