Wildlife Education Programs Known for its unique wildlife programs that stimulate the mind and the heart, OFES delivers live-bird* (wild ambassador) presentations to schools, homes, community groups, and teacher workshops. Fees, to help cover the cost of the care of the education birds, range from $85 to $350. See the Programs page of our website for more specific information. Programs on Shelburne Farms Raptors in Residence, bird walks, family programs, vacation days, campfires, sing-a-longs, preschool programs: these OFES programs on Shelburne Farms are all designed to explore, enjoy, and further understand our wild world. Visit www.shelburnefarms.org for more information. Summer Youth Camps OFES offers one to two week day camps on Shelburne Farms for the young raptor enthusiast ages 10-15. Campers may learn about wild-living raptors, ecology, biology, natural history, and captive management. Each hands-on camp allows daily contact with our wild ambassadors. Truly an experience like no other in the Champlain Valley. Contact director@ofes.org or check our website for the Raptor Camps link in early spring for more information. Raptor Rehabilitation When you find a hawk with a broken wing, or accidently strike an owl with your car, you can confidently turn to OFES rehabilitation services for wildlings in distress at no charge to you.
